Susanna Reid calls out Piers Morgan as he accuses Prince Harry of bullying the Queen

Susanna Reid hit out at Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan on Tuesday morning, after he claimed the Queen had been “bullied” by her grandson Prince Harry .

The Duke of Sussex sat down for talks with the Queen on Monday, after he and wife Meghan Markle decided to step down from their roles as senior royals.

Ahead of their proposed move to Canada and a “transition period” between there and the UK, the Queen released a statement on what the talks resulted in with final plans yet to be confirmed.

Speaking about the unfolding “royal crisis” on GMB, Piers suggested the couple had got what they wanted.

He then went on to suggest Prince Harry had “bullied” his grandmother, leaving Her Majesty in an “impossible position”.

Guest and royal author Angela Levin agreed with Piers, suggesting the Queen had been “blackmailed”.

Susanna wasn’t happy with the language being used on the show, calling Piers out.

Former royal protection officer Ken Wharfe had said of Harry on bullying claims: “He’s not capable of bullying the Queen.”

It’s then that Piers quipped: “He just has,” to which Ken replied: “No he hasn’t Piers.”

Susanna wasn’t keen on where the debate was going, telling him: “It’s a terrible word, bullying, to use…”

Piers hit back, stating: “Oh I know you find every word terrible.”

Susanna told him: “She’s a concerned grandmother responding to a cry for help.”

Piers went back again, echoing his claims about Harry saying: “The Queen has been put in an impossible position where she’s been railroaded into giving them what they want.”

Angela agreed: “I think she’s been blackmailed.”

Susanna once again shared her disapproval, saying: “This language is so…” before being cut off.
